You First.

In 2007, Jesse Dwyer was studying poetry and farming vegetables in Vermont when he relocated to Silicon Valley. There he found a unique advantage when advising CEO’s and high-profile investors on the details of their communication: he saw them as any other person pulling carrots on the farm. Having joined the tech industry’s rise from such a different professional background, it was easy to have true empathy and genuine confidentiality for some of the people who receive it the least. This led to powerful breakthroughs in their communication that agencies and consultants before had been unable to make: inspiring audiences and leading people starts with YOU. Then your people. Then other people.

This is our approach to everything we do—start with you. It is the only way to truly unlock growth for your teams and inspire the world beyond.

Today, Jesse is a founding partner of Publera, having previously founded and led the “first draft," Tiny Ideas. Publera specializes in one specific challenge that affects executives, leaders, and high-net-worth people: every single thing you do and every thing you do not do is communication to someone. This means the best strategies for moving and leading people are not as simple as talking points and content calendars. They are entire ways of operating.

Jesse has also led operations and content for software firm Money Group, HR communications for pre-IPO restructuring initiatives at Dropbox, and served in various executive and strategic communications roles at Facebook during some of its most challenging pre-IPO moments. He cut his teeth at industry-renowned SNP Communications and is an almuni of Dartmouth College.

It is worth mentioning that Publera LLC is a United States Qualified Opportunity Zone fund. Because we think good company is a good investment. While our clients and partners span the globe, we are very proudly based in Donnelly, Idaho—just minutes from Tamarack Resort, McCall, Whitetail Club, and our favorite river on planet earth. If you would ever like to visit us here in the center of the universe, drop us a line, we would love to see you.
